摘要

The method involves injecting a homogenous fuel mix into an internal combustion engine during an idle condition of the engine. An additional force is applied to the engine by an electric motor when the engine speed is reduced due to stochastic defective combustion, for regulating the engine speed during the idle condition. The combustion arises due to low exhaust gas temperature, catalyst system aging, and operating noise.
