Method for controlling hydraulic solenoid valves with compensating signal added to solenoid control signal to compensate for inertial delay

A method for a fast response control for hydraulic solenoid valves especially in vehicles, computes a correction signal which is added to the solenoid control to reach the selected setting with a minimum of delay. The correction signal is derived for a formula which includes the required hydraulic pressure, the inertial delay and the dynamics of the system.
