Hot water supply method for domestic applications using hot water held in hot water tank for heating brown water fed to hot water user via heat exchanger

The hot water supply method uses a heat exchanger (WT) through which the hot water held in a hot water tank (50) is fed via a circulation pump (P) on the primary side, the secondary side of the heat exchanger supplied with brown water which can be fed to a hot water user (100), e.g. a shower. The entry and exit (E1,A1) for the primary circuit of the heat exchanger lie at the same height or below the return inlet (E) to the hot water tank, such that the hydrostatic pressure at the ouptut is at least equal to that at the input when the pump is switched off. An independent claim for providing domestic hot water is also included.
