Piezoelectric drive unit for producing preferably rotational drive movement has rotor mounted in stator with hydrodynamic bearing system, whereby fluid-filled annular gap is part of bearing gap of bearing system
The unit has a stator (1), a rotor (2,5,7) and drive elements in the form of preferably several piezoelectric actuators, an annular gap (4') filled with a fluid medium (10) between facing surfaces of the rotor and stator and several piezoelectric actuators (8a,8d) bounding on the gap that can carry out an essentially radial length change towards the gap that is transferred to the fluid as flow energy, which is transferred to the rotor and converted into a rotational drive movement. The rotor is mounted in the stator with a hydrodynamic bearing system, whereby the gap is part of a bearing gap (4) of the hydrodynamic bearing system. An independent claim is also included for a method of producing a preferably rotational drive movement of a drive unit with a stator and a rotor.
