Flat rectangular plate for preparation, transportation and serving of food is supported by profiled plate with depressions acting as handles and as recesses for standard-size cooling bricks

The food handling and cooling assembly (10) is used for preparation, transportation and serving of food. It has a flat rectangular plate (12) with rounded corners and a sharp edge (12a). The corners fit into arcuate raised rims (18) at the corners of a profiled spray-cast plastics support plate (14). There are depressions in the profiled support plate acting as handles (20) and as recesses (22) to accommodate three standard-size rectangular cooling bricks (24). There are grip recesses (26) at the ends of the recesses for the bricks. The surface of the plate between the recesses is flat (16) and the edge of the plate is downturned to rest on the table top.
