The electrical drive for the winding shaft (1) used to unwind or wind up the screen (2) is powered by a battery (4) located inside the casing (3) containing the shaft. A battery recharger (5) which can be connected to the mains is also provided inside the casing. The winding shaft comprises a tube which contains the low voltage motor for rotating it.
