The wall structure which has a mineral wool plate (3) interposed between top and bottom surface plates (1,2) has a base profile (4) along the lower edge of the wall structure which connects and reinforces same. A cover panel (6) with U-shaped edge profile (7) fits on the top edge of the wall element to produce a rigid unit.
