A coil winder wherein a wire (A) is put in a condition in which it is in contact with a winding core member (13), and this wire is wound around the surface of the winding core member by means of a pair of winding tools (R, S) which hold this wire from both sides with a contact pressure force which plastically deforms this wire, and by rotating either one of the winding tools.
