Device for controlling quantity of air injected into catalytic burner, of fuel cell system mounted on motor vehicle (1) comprising reformer (3), air compression battery (7) and electronic control unit (10), incorporates unit (15) for estimating proportion of carbon monoxide and/or proportion of carbon dioxide given out by burner (5) and unit (16) for controlling quantity of air injected into burner. An independent claim is also included for controlling the quantity of air injected into the burner of a fuel cell system for a motor vehicle.
