The method involves producing electrical stimulation signals in an operation frequency range at a predetermined power level. The operation frequency range is between 1 to 5 Giga Hertz. The stimulation signals are applied in a shielding sheath to generate electromagnetic field (EM) in a detection zone. Temperature in the detection zone is measured by performing a thermal cartography of a harness (H). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device for the implementation of the electromagnetic protection defects locating method; and (b) a harness.
