The device has lower and upper parts (4, 5) equipped with a lower frame (3) and an upper frame (6), respectively. The parts have a lower wall (2) and a dome shaped wall (7), respectively, where the walls have conducting zones. The frames are in electrical contact when the parts cooperate to delimit an inner volume (8) containing an object e.g. car. The zones are in an electromagnetic relation with the volume and with the exterior of the device and are in electrical continuity with each other, where the zones form an electromagnetic shield around the volume. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system having two object protection devices (2) a method for protecting an object protection device from electromagnetic activation systems.
