Saline solution deionizer with deionization and concentration compartments separated by membranes has external Laplace force generator

The deionizer, e.g. for sea water, has a cell with an outer impermeable, non-conducting and non-magnetic wall and inner deionization and concentration compartments, separated by ion-permeable membranes. The cell has an Laplace force generator situated outside it and having no contact with the solution while applying a Laplace force in a transverse direction to the membranes. The generator's electrical field is produced by the armatures of a condenser situated outside the cell and formed by a metallic film applied in two diametrically- opposed side strips to the cell walls, each strip being connected to the pole of a DC current generator.
