System to be regulated e.g. remote control system, controlling process for controlling e.g. vehicle, involves determining delay compensation function from parameters while taking into account estimated fine delay
The process involves determining a delay compensation function from parameters related to a combined system comprising a system to be regulated and a communication network. A control signal is modified according to the determined function. A fine delay generated by the communication network is estimated and determination of the delay compensation function takes into account the fine delay. An independent claim is also included for a system implementing a process of controlling a system to be regulated.
