Hydrodynamic bearing for internal combustion engine, has crank pin mounted in cylindrical housing and including reduced curved zone that is oriented in such way that peak load is directed towards curved zone
The bearing has a crank pin (21) rotatively mounted in a cylindrical housing (31). A clearance is arranged between the crank pin and the housing so that a lubricating film is interposed during relative movement of the crank pin and the housing. The crank pin has a reduced curved zone (24) oriented in such a way that a peak load is directed towards the reduced curved zone.
