A product, comprising a body delimited by a surface, is made of a vitroceramic with a base of lithium alumino-silicate. The vitroceramic , on at least a part of the surface, has a superficial layer of which the degree of crystallisation is greater than that of the vitroceramic at the heart of the body. An independent claim is also included for the preparation of this vitroceramic product.
