Fabrication of a vitroceramic in the shape of a plate and containing some mixed crystals of keatite (KMK) or some mixed crystals of beta quartz (HQMK) + KMK, starting from a vitroceramic containing HQMK, is carried out at rate of heating, for passing from the HQMK state to the formation of KMK, greater than 10K/min to 150 K/min, preferably greater than 15 K/min and in particular greater than 20 K/min.
