The clasp has a locking mechanism comprising two locking pins (6) each sliding in opposite directions in a hole (9) formed in a male unit (1). The mechanism has a spring (7) arranged in the hole between the pins, and two unlocking pushrods (8) which slide freely in corresponding mutually aligned holes (16) formed in a female unit (2). Each rod has a length equal to length of corresponding holes (16).
