Exhaust pipe cutting method for terrestrial vehicle, involves cutting pipe by driving torch based on movement at frequency equal to pipe`s rotational frequency and amplitude equal to product of pipe radius and cotangent of inclination angle
The method involves placing a longitudinal median axis (X) of an exhaust pipe (T) parallel to a guiding axle (G) of a plasma torch (O). The pipe is driven in rotation at a determined rotational frequency. The pipe is cut during its rotation, by driving the torch based on rectilinear movement at frequency equal to the rotational frequency and amplitude equal to a product of radius of the pipe and cotangent of an inclination angle (A). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) utilization of a method for cutting an exhaust pipe for a terrestrial vehicle (B) a device for cutting an exhaust pipe for the terrestrial vehicle.
