PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food composition containing hackberry as a raw material from which such effect of β-glucan highly included in the hackberry, as to enhance human immune strength effective on treatment of allergosis or atopic dermatitis, improvement in hepatic function, and further shrinkage of cancer, having no smell or taste affecting the palate feeling of other materials, and having low calorie content; and to provide food obtained by using the food composition bringing about such valuable effects, as part of the materials.;SOLUTION: The food composition containing hackberry as a raw material is obtained by producing dry powder of hackberry to be used as a food composition.
