PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system of probe traffic information which can generate nation-wide traffic congestion information with a small amount of investment, by generating traffic congestion information about the roads by estimating the location of a cellular phone, using information of connection and disconnection of the cellular phone with a base station, using the location information for the probe data and matching with road map data.;SOLUTION: The traffic congestion information on road is generated by using a cellular phone of a driver or a fellow passenger, collecting location information of a cellular phone obtained by transmission with a base station (when talking, and polling when not talking) and receiving it as probe data, and matching it with the road map data. When the a commercial vehicle of a driver having a cellular phone does not move within the range predicted in advance, more accurate traffic congestion information is generated, by determining whether the location data of the cellular phone is suitable as a probe information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
