PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate rail advancing work when a set of segment feeding equipment such as a transfer conveyor, a rail and a hoist is transferred forward along with the excavation of a shield machine.;SOLUTION: The transfer conveyor 70 is arranged in the rear of an erector 20 of the shield machine 10; a plurality of brackets, which are provided with a pair of rollers, are detachably suspended on a top surface in an existing tunnel from above the vicinity of the transfer conveyor 70 to the rear of it; the rails 80, from which the hoist 90 is travelably suspended between the pair of rollers, are temporarily fixed by being sequentially laid in such a manner as to be freely transferred forward; after a segment 40 is assembled by using a truck 50, the shield machine 10 is made to perform the excavation and the transfer conveyor 70 is advanced; the rail 80, which is unfixed by transferring the rear bracket 84 forward, is transferred forward to be refixed; and the above steps are repeated so that the segments 40 can be sequentially fed for assembly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
