PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a video image, similarly to an intercom, using a nurse call system and a video monitor system for reproduction using a personal computer since the nurse call system, a voice monitor and the like are known and adopted on medical job sites, and the prior art enables a video image of a communicating party to be confirmed by the intercom but it becomes very convenient to confirm the video image also on the personal computer as personal computers become widespread.;SOLUTION: The intra-hospital ward monitor system includes a camera installed to project a sickroom, a personal computer for reproducing a video signal from the camera, a transfer means for transferring the video signal from the camera to the personal computer, and an abnormal sound detection means for detecting sound in the sickroom.
