PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system for employee or the like, capable of easily performing authentication of employee while preventing employee from being spoofed.;SOLUTION: This authentication system for employee or the like 1, which is used when an employee authenticates the affiliation of the company member to a customer at a visiting destination, comprises an authentication tool 200 with authentication data (two-dimensional bar code 210) for authenticating the employee assigned thereto; an authentication data input terminal (cellular phone 100) for inputting authentication data (two-dimensional bar code 210) from the authentication tool 200; and an employee authentication server 10 connected to the data input terminal (cellular phone 100) through a communication means (network 5).
