PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a company network including first and second network areas 202 and 206 which are geographically distant from each other.;SOLUTION: The first and second network areas, which communicate with each other, include first and second gateways 220 and 224, and first and second link groups connected to a second network 248, respectively. In response to a request from a first subscriber who starts a communication session with a second subscriber in the other network area, when a media server 200 judges that a network 252 cannot currently support a bearer channel of the session, the first gateway 220 transmits a common electronic address.
