PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal impedance measuring device of a storage battery that precisely measures and without requiring a large-scale device as well as complicating circuits, and to provide an internal impedance measuring method of the storage battery. PSOLUTION: The internal impedance measuring device of the storage battery includes a microprocessor for storing data for measuring the internal impedance of the storage battery, an applying means for measuring currents having a D/A converter for converting data by programs into periodic signals and a current amplifier for amplifying returned signals to apply the signals to a storage battery to be measured, a band-pass filter for passing signals of frequency components, in a specified range from among electromotive forces generated by the applied currents, an A/D converter for digitizing the passed signals, and a measuring means, having the microprocessor for determining the internal impedance from correlation of signals of frequency components in the specified range to be digitized.
