VOICE/CHARACTER CONVERSION SYSTEM FOR AGED HEARING-IMPAIRED PERSON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the elderly to notice an incoming call, by adopting a vibration system in the case of a portable telephone, and setting a red flashing pole in the case of a fixed telephone and interphone.;SOLUTION: An elderly hearing-impaired person will not often wear a hearing aid, because such a person dislikes the noise of the hearing aid, and will not notice the incoming call of a telephone or interphone, as a result. This makes the relatives at outside worry much, in many cases. In order to prevent this, this voice/character conversion system allows the elderly hearing-impaired person informed of the incoming call from the outside, by adopting a vibration system for a portable telephone, and setting a red flash pole in a fixed telephone and interphone. Then, the receiver can conduct conversation with the caller, while reading the characters of a display, by changing to the switch for this voice/character conversion system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
