PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for outputting power from a motor via a transmission to a driving shaft, making it possible to change the shift stage of the transmission when impossible to change it with the synchronization of the rotating speed of the motor. PSOLUTION: When the shift stage of the transmisision is changed to increase the rotating speed Nm2 of the motor (S300), constant pressure stand-by is performed by using stand-by pressures Pb1, Pb2 of brakes B1, B2 which are set to be greater as the output limit of a battery is smaller (S350) and the rotating speed Nm2 of the motor is increased to a rotating speed Nm2* after changed by the semi-engagement of positive torque of the motor with the brakes B1, B2. Thus, even when the output limit of the battery is smaller to make it impossible to change the shift stage with the synchronization of the rotating speed of the motor before/after changing the shift stage, the semi-engagement with the brakes B1, B2 is used to change the shift stage.
