PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since live prawns are generally shipped alive while buried in sawdust, a packaging container is enlarged as much sawdust is stored in the container, the survival period is shortened in the sawdust due to insufficiency of water, and removal of the sawdust attaching to the prawns, disposal of the sawdust or the like is troublesome.;SOLUTION: A live prawn package is structured by storing a live prawn 1 wrapped with a water-impregnated water retention wrapper 2 in a linear posture in a packaging box 4 capable of storing one live prawn 1 extending in a linear posture and having waterproofness.
