PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing phenomenon compensation method which enables to use the natural light-emitting device all through its life by using a practical size memory since the information for calculating the amount of compensation is only the differences even for all the natural light-emitting optical elements, and handling small numbers with a small calculation load by treating only the differences based on the average image values without accelerating degradation unnecessarily, and also provide a natural light-emitting device, and a printing phenomenon compensation device and program thereof.;SOLUTION: The method of correcting a printing phenomenon in a natural light-emitting device which has natural light-emitting elements arranged in a matrix on a base substrate includes (a) a process of calculating the average image value of a 1st input information about the drive conditions of the natural light-emitting elements, (b) a process of calculating the differences between the 1st input information and the above average image value for each natural light-emitting element, (c) a process of calculating the amount of compensation for each element based on the differences, and (d) a drive condition compensating section to correct the 2nd input information about the natural light-emitting elements with the corresponding amount of compensation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
