PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst which has a high decomposition activity in catalytic decomposition of hydrocarbon oil, and enables an effective manufacture of high-octane FCC gasoline without lowering an FCC gasoline yield.;SOLUTION: The catalyst for hydrocarbon oil catalytic decomposition comprises crystalline alumino-silicate in which (a) SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of a bulk by a chemical composition analysis is 4-15, (b) a unit lattice size is 24.35-24.65 Å, and (c) a molar ratio of Al in zeolite lattice to total Al is 0.3-1, and an alumina binder and a clay mineral, a weak acid site amount/strong acid site amount ratio when a solid acid is measured by an ammonia desorption spectrum in rising temperature being 0.6-0.8. And the catalyst is a mixture where a material having an inactivation capability of a certain catalyst poisoning metal is mixed with the catalyst.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
