PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welcoming and sending-off device which is installed at an entrance exit of a store etc., and senses an attribute of a customer to output a message entertaining, sending off, or welcoming the customer according to the attribute of the customer.;SOLUTION: The welcoming and sending-off device comprises attraction bodies 14a, 14b, and 14c which attract attention; a plurality of sensing sensors 15 which are disposed on both sides of the attraction bodies and sense a passerby 3, a coming/going decision section which decides the coming/going direction of the passerby by receiving signals from the plurality of sending sensors; an attribute decision section which decides an attribute of the passerby by receiving the signals from the plurality of sensing sensors; a plurality of speech information memories which are previously stored; and a speech output section which outputs speech information stored in the speech information memories according to decision results of the coming/going decision section and attribute decision section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
