PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser pulse transmitter-receiver with which laser light is modulated with excellent accuracy even when a difference between a pulse repetition frequency and a modulation frequency is small. PSOLUTION: A frequency of reflected light is extracted by transforming a receive light signal of laser reflected light into a signal in a frequency domain and analyzing frequency components with a frequency analyzer 16. A PRF modulated at the frequency, a modulation frequency of a modulator 13, and a pulse width (a duty ratio) of a modulation pattern are determined on a laser transmission controller 17, and based on the result of the determination, the PRF, the modulation frequency and the pulse width (the duty ratio) of the modulation pattern of the laser light emitted from the laser transmitter 111 are controlled to convert the modulation frequency of the laser light to be emitted into a required frequency.
