PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for discarded documents and its method that allow calculating more adequately the expenses of disposing of discarded documents according to the degree of environmental loads, and a storage medium.;SOLUTION: In the management system for discarded documents, a discarded-document management terminal 11 of a discarded-document management station 10, a measuring terminal 21 of a measuring station 20, and the client management terminals 41, 51, 61 of clients 40, 50, 60 are connected to one another by a network 30. The client management terminals 41, 51, 61 send data about the amount of discarded paper to the discarded-document management terminal 11 and the measuring terminal 21 sends data about the amount of discarded documents in the unit period of each of the clients 40, 50, 60 to the management terminal 11. The management terminal 11 has a document management DB 12 and an expense management DB 13, tallies the amount of discarded documents and the expenses of disposal, and informs the clients 40, 50, 60 about the results.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
