METHOD FOR PRODUCING LEAF MOLD, LEAF MOLD, AND RAISING SEEDLING CULTURE SOIL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing leaf mold enabling stabilization of its chemical properties and usable for raising seedling culture soil: and to provide the leaf mold and the raising seedling culture soil. PSOLUTION: The method for producing the leaf mold comprises fermenting fallen leaves 1(a) collected via a fallen-leaf collection means 11 with which branches and barks are eliminated from the fallen leaves containing branches and barks, when collecting the fallen leaves in mountains and forests, via a fermentation means 12. The leaf mold 2 whose chemical properties are stabilized can be obtained by this method. The good-quality raising seedling culture soil 3 is obtained by using the leaf mold 2 as raw material. The raising seedling culture soil 3 is used for raising seedlings of garden crops such as strawberries, tomatoes, watermelons to raise good-quality seedlings. The raising seedling culture soil 3 does not inhibit germination of cell seedlings, makes raising seedling work comfortable and has good appearance because the branches and barks are removed.
