PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule of a heat accumulating material excellent in stability with time without being easily hydrolyzed and excellent in a high quantity of heat and thermal response upon phase change.;SOLUTION: The microcapsule of a heat accumulating material comprises a heat accumulating material encapsulated in a microcapsule wherein the heat accumulating material uses at least one kind of compounds represented by formula (I), formula (II) and formula (III). In formula (I), R1 and R2 each independently denote a 6C or higher hydrocarbon group and X denotes a bivalent linking group containing a heteroatom. In formula (II), R3 denotes a hydrocarbon group having a valence of n; each of R4 independently denotes a 6C or higher hydrocarbon group; and Y denotes a bivalent linking group containing a heteroatom.
