PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire failure detection method, a tire failure detection program, and a tire failure detection device, capable of suppressing erroneous operation while suppressing degradation in accuracy as a tire durability test. PSOLUTION: In the tire failure detection method of detecting a failure of a rotating pneumatic tire at the time of a tire durability test, an upper limit reference value L1 and a lower limit reference value L2 which are reference values on the basis of recessed/projecting portions on an outer surface of the pneumatic tire before the tire durability test or immediately after starting of the tire durability test are set (ST110). A distance L which is physical amount on the basis of the recessed/projecting portions on the outer surface of the rotating pneumatic tire is detected (ST120), and when the distance L which is the detected physical amount exceeds a range of the upper limit reference value L1 and the lower limit reference value L2 which are the reference values, counting is carried out (ST130, ST140).
