PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll coater capable of preventing the hardening of a reactive hot-melt adhesive.;SOLUTION: The roll coater is provided with: an one side weir member 6 for preventing the leakage from one side of a coating roll 4 and a doctor roll 5; an another side weir member 7 positioned abutting on the another side of the coating roll 4 and the doctor roll 5 and for preventing the leakage from the another side of the coating roll 4 and the doctor roll 5; a freely movable 1st weir member 8 facing the one side weir member 6 and in contact with the coating roll 4 and the doctor roll 5 to prevent the leakage; and a freely movable 2nd weir member 9 facing the another side weir member 7 and abutting on the coating roll 4 and the doctor roll 5 to prevent the leakage. It is further provided: with a 1st cleaning hot-melt reservoir B for storing a cleaning hot-melt 20 for cleaning a reactive hot-melt adhesive 3 and formed from the coating roll 4, the doctor roll 5, the 1st weir member 8 and the one side weir member 6; and a 2nd cleaning hot-melt reservoir C for storing the cleaning hot-melt 20 and formed from the coating roll 4, the doctor roll 5, the 2nd weir member 9 and the another side weir member 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
