SYSTEM FOR RAISING OSTRICH

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein an established system for raising ostrich is not present now, the profitability ratio as a business is low because of a low survival rate, and safety for supplying the meat as foodstuff is not sufficiently secured. PSOLUTION: The system for raising the ostrich comprises forming a plurality of paddocks for raising a plurality of the ostriches by partitioning, attaching an information-memorizing medium enabling informations to be written and to be read to a part of the body of each adult bird in each of the paddocks so as not to be removed, and tending the ostriches by passing the ostriches one by one through a gate having a reader/writer for the information-memorizing medium. The information-memorizing medium is formed into a non-contact type IC tag, and the IC tag is stored in a container and buried beneath the skin at the joint of the neck part of the ostrich.
