PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate vehicle's escape from a wheel rut in active braking and a front wheel steering system for an automobile.;SOLUTION: This vehicle control system includes: an active steering system 10 including a steered wheel 12 for regulating the steering angle. The system 10 includes a steering wheel 16 for generating a driver input control angle, and further includes a control device configuration part 18 and a sensor configuration part 60. These configuration parts are connected to each other so that the control device configuration part 18 selectively changes the steering angles 20, 21 according to a driver input control angle. The steering angle 20 regulates a vehicle yaw assumed when the steered wheel does not slip on the contact surface. The vehicle control system includes a braking system constructed to brake a selected wheel.
