BEARING STRUCTURE FOR CUTTER SPINDLE IN MEAT SLICER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform adjustment of a clearance between a rotation cutter and a fixed cutter without requiring skill with simple method and operation.;SOLUTION: In the bearing structure for the cutter spindle of a slicer S having the cutter spindle 1 fixed with the cutter A, front and rear sides of the cutter spindle are supported by bearings 3, 4 at two positions and screw shaft parts 8 are provided on front and rear sides of a journal 7 of the cutter spindle penetrated through one bearing 4. A pair of adjustment nuts being in contact with end surfaces of the bearing 4 from the front and rear sides is thread-engaged with the screw shaft parts and the bearing position of the cutter spindle is forwardly/rearwardly finely adjusted by relaxing one of the adjustment nut and fastening the other. The clearance between the rotating cutter A and the fixed cutter 2 fixed to a machine base F of the slicer is finely adjusted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
