LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL SUPPORT, BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel support with which contamination of a liquid crystal display panel caused by a foreign material is suppressed, and a backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display device using the same.;SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel support includes a first support frame, a second support frame and a foreign material barrier. The first support frame supports the liquid crystal display panel and has an opening to supply light to the liquid crystal display panel. The second support frame protrudes from the edge of the first support frame and surrounds the side face of the liquid crystal display panel. The foreign material barrier is placed on a face of the first support frame corresponding to the liquid crystal display panel and prevents the foreign material from flowing in between the first support frame and the liquid crystal display panel. Since the liquid crystal display panel support includes the foreign material barrier, the foreign material is prevented from flowing in from the outside between the support and the liquid crystal display panel, and image display quality is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
