PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display panel and a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device are provided to embody a backside object of the liquid crystal display device by improving the permeability of the liquid crystal panel. ;CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(21) comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. A first polarizing member(22) comprises a first penetration axis in parallel with a first direction and a first absorption axis formed along a second direction about the first direction. A first alignment layer(23) is located between a first substrate and a liquid crystal layer.
