PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of suppressing production of an idle tone in the case that a DEM processing of a rotation system is applied to a digital signal for continuously representing a similar value such as a non-signal and a DC signal.;SOLUTION: A DEM processing apparatus that is connected to a D/A converter for generating an analog signal by receiving a first digital signal in a plurality of bits and selecting an analog value of a D/A conversion element associated with each bit of the first digital signal in response to a prescribed bit value denoted by each bit of the first digital signal and synthesizing the analog values and carries out DEM processing to match the D/A conversion element, assigns randomized selection priority to each bit of the first digital signal, sequentially selects the bits of the first digital signal in the order of higher selection priority by a value of a second digital signal when receiving the second digital signal being a D/A conversion object including the value in response to the number of analog values to be selected, generates the first digital signal wherein the values of the selected bits are prescribed bit values and transmits the first digital signal to the D/A converter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
