PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance/renewal system of electronic equipment incorporating an IC tag and a maintenance/renewal method thereof in which recording and updating of history information in repair or renewal of electronic equipment are accurately and easily performed, and appropriate replacement and replacement of consumable parts are realized based on the history information.;SOLUTION: The maintenance/renewal system for electronic equipment incorporating an IC tag is configured by attaching one IC tag 5 to each component or each apparatus configuring the electronic equipment such as a personal computer 4 to be repaired or renewed, and by providing an IC tag reading/writing device 3 for reading a history information on the repair for each apparatus and component recorded in the IC tags 5 or writing the history information, a terminal 2 which is connected to the IC tag reading/writing device 3 to control the device, and a server 1 for recording/managing the history information recorded in the IC tag 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
