PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To essentially avoid damage to a vibration-proof device itself and that to equipment, or the like to be supported by predicting the occurrence of an earthquake.;SOLUTION: The vibration-proof device comprises: a vibration isolation system 11 for placing the equipment 7; sensors 12, 13 for measuring the vibration of the vibration isolation system 11; and actuators 15, 16 that support the vibration isolation system and are operated according to the measurement result of the sensors for suppressing vibration propagated to the equipment. The vibration-proof device comprises: a detection section 18a for detecting prescribed vibration components from the output of the sensors; and a signal output section 18b for outputting a prediction signal by predicting the occurrence of an earthquake, according to the detection of prescribed vibration components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
