PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development replenishing method in an automatic developing apparatus for a photosensitive planographic printing plate by which changes in the sensitivity of a developing solution against changes in development conditions can be suppressed to the minimum while the developing unit of the automatic developing apparatus has a simple and inexpensive configuration.;SOLUTION: The development replenishing method includes: measuring the conductivity of a developing solution; comparing the conductivity of the developing solution with a predetermined conductivity reference; and replenishing the developing solution with a development replenisher when the conductivity of the developing solution is lower than the conductivity reference, wherein the difference between the conductivity of the developing solution and the conductivity reference is calculated and displayed as an activity of the developing solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
