PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for properly predicting the number of entrance examination applicants of a next fiscal year of each college from the number of college applicants for each prefecture and the number of high school graduates announced by the country, the number of entrance examination applicants announced by colleges, and trial examination data provided by successful applicants and trial examination organizing companies, or the like.;SOLUTION: In the system 1 for predicting the number of entrance examination applicants, when calculating an entrance examination applicant prediction value of each college of the next fiscal year on the basis of the data or the like subjected to multiple regression analysis, accuracy of prediction is improved and effective reuse is made possible by correcting regional deviation of the trial examination data, considering a degree of attention or the like to a target college of an applicant from a deviation value or the like, and using even changes in an entrance examination such as reorganization of faculties and departments, and participation in University Testing Center Examination as qualitative data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
