PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which exhibits an improved processability and a high modulus by enhancing the dispersibility of silica in the rubber.;SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a rubber component obtained by co-coagulating rubber latex and silica in the presence of a saccharide-based surface active agent. The manufacturing process of the silica-filled rubber involves a step to co-coagulate rubber latex and silica in the presence of a saccharide-based surface active agent.
