PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture uptake resistant inorganic mineral powder having a lower water content and a smaller hygroscopicity than a conventional pulverized or dried product used as a filler for industrial products.;SOLUTION: The moisture uptake resistant inorganic mineral powder having a lower water content and a smaller hygroscopicity after drying is obtained as follows; an inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of ≤30 μm, such as calcium carbonate is stirred with a mixer, by the heat of stirring generated at this time, the inorganic filler is dried by heating, 0.1-3.0 wt.% of glycols are added to the inorganic filler in the dried state and they are further stirred.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
