JOINT COVERING MEMBER FOR BACKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor required for handling joints of a backing plate on a wall or a ceiling and facilitate adhesion of a paper and a cloth for decoration and paint for decoration.;SOLUTION: This joint covering member for the backing is composed of a lower side resin tape 1 for covering the joint 12 of the backing plate 11 and its both side parts and an upper side paper tape 2 for sticking the paper and cloth for decoration and applying paint for decoration. The upper side paper tape 2 having large width is constituted by aligning the longitudinal direction and overlapping on the lower side resin tape 1, bonding a central part on a rear surface of the upper side paper tape 2 on a surface of the lower side resin tape 1, and protruding both side parts of the upper side paper tape 2 on both sides of the lower side resin tape 1. In the lower side resin tape 1, a rear surface of a central part covered by crossing the joint 12 is formed into a non-bonded part 3 which is not bonded on the backing plate 11, and rear surfaces of both side parts of the lower side resin tape 1 and rear surfaces in both protruding side parts of the upper side paper tape 2 are formed into bonded parts 4 which are bonded on the backing plate 11. Thickness of the lower side resin tape 1 is smoothly and gradually reduced from a central part in the direction of width to fringes on both sides and is almost zero at the fringes on both sides.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
